Caring for Your Artwork
Thank you so much for your purchase and taking loving care of my art kids! X
Original Paintings
All original artworks are intended to be displayed indoors only, out of high moisture, heat and grease environments, and out of direct sunlight.
The metallic leaf embellishments on paintings are delicate, avoid handling these to prevent marring/damage.
If required, the best way to keep these artworks dust-free is to delicately dust them using an extra soft brush (I recommend an extra soft Taklon varnish brush) and steering clear of any metallic leaf & glitter embellishments.
It is recommended that unframed works be framed for optimum display and to keep the artwork protected.

Rug Care & Maintenance
Newly delivered rugs can sometimes contain package trapped traces of Latex aromas, which will dissipate within a short time.
When the rug is new, a certain amount of ‘fluffing’ or ‘pilling’ is to be expected as loose fibres shed from the pile surface. This shedding is a perfectly normal phenomenon exhibited by high quality wool cut pile carpets, which are shorn at finishing. With regular vacuuming over time, these trapped fibres will be removed
All rug/carpet piles are ‘cropped’ to give a smooth, level surface. In the event that a trapped, buried tuft ‘sprouts’ its way above the surface, cut it off level with scissors - never pull out a tuft.
To keep your rug looking great and performing at its best, regular cleaning with a good quality, heavy-duty vacuum cleaner is recommended (upright with brush/beater works best). Pay close attention to heavily tracked areas as grit particles, if ignored, can become compacted into the carpet pile fibre, eventually contributing to reduced performance. Rotate frequently to ensure even wear. Regular care and attention to the rug will extend its resilience, beauty and working life.
Tip: By providing removable, entrance matting at the entrance points of the property you will minimize the risk of tracking dirt underfoot and into the home, providing passive protection for your new rug.
Wool and wool blend rugs benefit from having a low amount of moisture in the surrounding atmosphere, to keep the yarn conditioned. A periodic application of a fine water mist whilst vacuuming the rug is recommended, to keep the wool conditioned and prevent fibres from becoming brittle and shedding, particularly in dryer months. Use a misting bottle with clean or distilled water for this.
Keep your rug out of direct sunlight to prevent colour fading and avoid localised focused heat
Stain Treatment:
*Note: In the event of major spillage, soiling or damage seek immediate specialist cleaning advice prior to taking any remedial actions. Any application to the carpet surface, of any chemical film including ‘Scotch Guard’ will cancel any warranties provided.
Most stains can be dealt with effectively if they are treated early rather than after they have dried out.
When ‘spot’ cleaning any stain remember to BLOT – DON’T RUB. Rubbing can cause permanent pile distortion and spread the stain, whereas blotting promotes wicking action that facilitates removal.
Use cleaning agents designed to tackle specific soiling, generally available from wholesale cleaning product suppliers. Proprietary brand cleaning agents are not recommended as a blanket one-type-fits-all stain removers. Do not use bleach or harsh cleaning agents.
Wet cleaning is usually recommended when the carpet requires ‘refreshing’ (usually after 12-18 months depending on traffic) or when major soiling or spillage occurs. Professional accredited wet cleaning contractors should be used.
If rug/carpet is seriously stained or damaged seek IMMEDIATE professional cleaning assistance. Keep the stain damp, covered with suitable wet cloth to help later extraction. Do not allow stain to dry out completely as this will require rehydration and may encumber correct wet extraction.

Masks
All original artworks are intended to be displayed indoors only, out of high moisture, heat and grease environments, and out of direct sunlight.
Air dry clay is structurally more delicate than kiln-fired clay and needs to be handled with care. Please be gentle when moving the masks around and especially careful not to knock bits that protrude from the mask face (like ears, horns, moustaches etc).
We strongly suggest wall hanging the mask straight away, using a trusty hook and nail (removable hooks are strongly discouraged) . Please note the masks have not been engineered to be safely bench/shelf mounted, unless otherwise stated.
If required, the artwork may be dusted very lightly using an extra soft brush (I recommend an extra soft Taklon varnish brush). We suggest this is kept to a minimum and that embellishments (eq. glitter, metallic foils/leaf etc) are carefully avoided. Avoid touching the delicate silver/gold metallic foil components of embellished artworks to prevent marring.
